All people accessing Grange Glebe Fishery enter at their own risk.
We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries to persons, vehicles or possessions, whilst on the premises.
It is the responsibility of all who enter the premises, to ensure that they are aware of the dangers associated with with fishing, before entering.
All persons looking to view or fish our lakes must contact Mick on 0879833209 or visit www.grangeglebefishery.com to arrange your visit.
There is no access onto the premises without permission.
All person’s under 16 years of age, must be accompanied at all times by an appropriate adult.
Grange Glebe Fishery Rules to Follow
*All rules to be read and understood by those accessing the premises prior to visiting
Day and Night Sessions
All sessions must be booked in advance. Booking can be made by contacting Mick on 087 983 3209 or visit www.grangeglebefishery.com tor arrange your visit.
We have two lakes, one which is for day sessions only (1 rod per angler), and the other which is for overnight sessions (2 rods per angler). Each lake holds 9 pegs.
Litter
It is the responsibility of all people to ensure that their peg and surrounding area is kept free from litter. All litter must be brought home.
Please ensure to notify someone on the premises if there is litter on your peg upon arrival.
All cigarette butts to be disposed of with your litter. Under no circumstances should cigarette butts be left on the ground.
Behaviour
As courtesy to all other anglers, no swimming or heavy drinking is permitted. The highest standard of behaviour is expected from all on the premises.
As noise carries across water, from dusk noise must be limited.
As we are surrounded by forestry, no open fires or disposable BBQ’s are permitted due to fire threat. Gas stoves permitted only.
Our local takeaway is available to provide food through a delivery service until 10pm.
Toilets must be used at all times.
All dogs to be kept on leads at all times, and any mess must be tidied up appropriately.
If you own a dog on the restricted breeds list, please ensure you abide by the statutory regulations under the ‘Control of Dogs Regulations, 1998’
(ie. Muzzled at all times), whilst on the premises.
Entering the premises
Maximum speed for vehicles entering is 15kph. (Extra caution must be taken when approaching and driving through the farm)
Vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area.
If anglers are being dropped off, please unload your equipment efficiently, as we ask that all drivers leave as soon as possible.
For security purposes please note that last entry time to the premises is 10pm, and last exit time from the premises is 11pm.
Bio-Security
All landing nets and un-hooking mats must be sanitised in our Virkon
Aquatic net dip before fishing.
Toilets must be left clean and tidy after use.
Catch and Release Only and Fish Care
All fish are to be carefully returned (alive) to the lake within 3 minutes of capture.
Landing mats to be used at all times, for unhooking and photography purposes. Landing mats must be wet.
Please ensure that if you would like a picture, that your camera is available and ready beforehand.
Fish are not to be lifted above knee height at any time.
When photographing, under no circumstance should fish be left on their sides looking into the sun.
We would appreciate the use of Carp Care Kits.
Keep nets and retainers permitted, however no fish over 4lb to enter keep nets. We may request on warmer days that you don’t use a keep net.
Random rig checks may completed.
If you get snagged, please notify a staff member.
Equipment
All equipment must be suitable and strong enough to ensure top fish care.
Minimum of 9lb line strength at all times.
Barbless and Micro-barbed hooks permitted only!
No elasticated feeders permitted.
No semi-fixed or fixed rigs permitted.
Under no circumstances should rods be left unattended in the water!
Bait boats permitted, as long as they don’t interfere with other anglers.
If an angler arrives beside or opposite you, please be responsible and reelin your rigs to an appropriate space for all to fish safely.
